3.1 Slab Type Turnout Laying on Subgrade

The Dezhou Eastern Railway Station project constructed of Beijing-Shanghai high speed railway by the China Railway First Group Co.,Ltd.includes station,yard and subgrade filling whose total length is 3.8km;8 groups of No.18 and 2 groups of No.42 slab type high speed turnout laying(red line part in the Figure 4,No.2 and No.4 refer to No.42);CRTS Ⅱ slab ballastless track construction for the main track;and CRTS Ⅰ bi-block ballastless track construction for arrival-departure track.

Before turnout slab laying on subgrade,common concrete cushion shall be constructed on accepted subgrade surface layer in turnout area.Since the width of turnout slab varies with turnout slab joint,the angular points of leveling blanker and the turning point coordinates shall be calculated first before the cushion construction,then the total station shall be used to set out for the position of angular points,and the cushion formwork shall be erected according to setting out point position.

Edge insulator and plastic cable ties shall be used to insulation bind rebar in turnout area,in order to meet track circuit requirement.

When back and forth of turnout area is connected with CRTS Ⅱ slab type ballastless track,in the middle shall be set compensation board or special board and bi-block ballastless track transitional section,and the construction shall be performed as per design drawings.

The design thickness of turnout slab is 24cm,concrete grade is C55,reinforced concrete structure,it shall be prefabricated and produced in factory.Its length and width shall be determined by the turnout geometry where turnout slab is located.
